In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb…Says Who?

There is that old saying, March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. I think this adage comes from the idea that the March weather is unpleasant and volitale with storms and winds but by the end of the month, the weather (allegedly) are a bit more pleasant and calm. I say allegedly because if you were in Westchester this weekend, you know that it snowed. Again. Just a dusting, but it was enough to say, “Really, Mother Nature?”

For me personally, March is always a month of transition and transformation. It is the time of year where I pick myself up from the Winter and say, ok enough hibernation, it’s time to get back on track and organized because Spring is coming (regardless of what Mother Nature or the Starks of Winterfell say). If you notice, last week I didn’t post anything. Not because I don’t love my blog or my wonderful, dedicated readers, but because I needed time to stop and reflect on myself, my needs, my goals, and my next steps. This is advice I took for myself, but also recommended for a few friends as well. It’s important to take a quick inventory before plowing in to the next adventure to make sure it is not only the right adventure for you, but that you have all the tools and preparation to make it a good one.

Good things are on the horizon my friends! I’m ready to tackle them like a lion tackles a gazelle! Beast mode baby!

Be ready, Spring is coming!

  1. Oh yes what a long winter it’s been and I can’t believe the flakes I even saw this morning! Your battery has been recharged and you helped to boost mine as well!
Here’s to a great new start!!
