The other day I was walking to work, and I was looking at the people walking towards me headed in the other direction. I saw a man walking towards me who was crying. His eyes were red and teared up and he was trying to compose himself.
Everyone is battling something. We all have something that brings us down each day. Somedays are harder than others. Some problems are more serious than others. In our minds, our personal spaces, we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Some times that weight of the world is heavier than others which makes us snippy, angry, and feeling desperate for someone to reach out. Try to be compassionate to your fellow-man. A smile, a thank you, or a have a nice day can make the world of difference some times.
I smiled at the man who was crying…
He smiled back
