Out of the ash I rise with my red hair and eat men like air – Sylvia Plath

“On Satan the color red is one thing; on women, it is altogether another”
— Marion Roach (Roots of Desire: The Myth, Meaning and Sexual Power of Red Hair)

Yesterday, Bellasugar posted a picture of Drew Barrymore’s New Red Hair Color. (Sorry, you have to click through if you want to see it!) If you have been keeping up with The Souzapalooza Blog, you know that my girl Drew is a source of weight loss inspiration for me. Seeing her rocking beautiful auburn locks, makes me jealous. My mom has red hair, well had it. She is going grey; and when my sister and I joke about it she responds with – “I earned every damn one of them putting up with you and your sister!” I’ve always wanted red hair but, my sister was the one who got it. I’m stuck with brown. However, seeing how awesome Drew looks, I’m debating on whether I should try it. While I make up my mind, here are some other notable red heads:

Debra Messing (played Grace Adler from NBC’s Will & Grace)  “You’ve already seen this Will & Grace like 19 f***ing times. Will & f***ing Grace. She’s sassy, he’s gay—we know!” – Dane Cook, comedian
